The Seoul Club was founded in 1904 by the Emperor Kojong. Born persay out of royality, the Seoul Club has a colorful history that now includes an extensive family of more than 80 different nationalities. Created to foster cross-cultural understanding and friendship, the Seoul Club has stood strong through war times, financial difficulties and multiple relocations. Since, its founding, more than 110 years ago, the Seoul Club has grown and matured, evolving into and remaining as the only multi-national private membership club in Korea to both expatriate and Korean communities. In essence, the Seoul Club provides a venue for members to enjoy true international fellowship-whatever language, color, creed, religion, age, etc.
